Local MP Maria Miller met Headteacher Sue Boorman, staff and members of the school council when she visited Hatch Warren Infant School.
Maria said, “Hatch Warren Infant School is proud to be rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted, and it was positive to hear from Ms Boorman about how the school continues to be a great place to learn, supporting all students to fulfil their potential.
“I also enjoyed meeting with members of the school council who take great pride in their school, and to hear about their ideas for making Basingstoke an even better place to live.
“I want every school in Basingstoke to be 'Good' or 'Outstanding' to make sure every child has the opportunity of an excellent education.”
