Chineham Post Office Petition

Maria Miller and local Councillors, Elaine Still and Laura Edwards have launched a  petition to demonstrate Chineham residents’ concerns about the closure of a local Post Office branch and to call for any redevelopment proposals to include plans for a new branch to reinstate these important services.

The Post Office in Chineham closed on 15 Augusts following the Postmaster’s resignation, the branch provided much needed vital services for local residents as a result of the Old Basing PO operator also withdrawing in recent years. Maria has been in direct contact with the Post Office who have provided reassurance that they understand residents’ concern and are committed to providing Post Office services in Chineham.

Maria and local Councillors will be collecting signatures over the next few weeks and you can also download a copy of the petition below.
