Basingstoke MP Maria Miller has praised local students for the hard work that has gone into their GCSE results, which were released this week.
Maria said: “Congratulations to all our local students for the effort they have put into achieving their GCSE results, both those who have done exceptionally well, and those who have made real progress to produce a grade that might earlier have seemed beyond them.”
“I am pleased to see reports of improvements in GCSE results in many Basingstoke schools and I will look forward to seeing the detailed outcomes in due course. Credit must also go to the great teachers and support staff, for their hard work, and their commitment to ensuring their students were able to fulfil their potential at this important time.”
