Basingstoke's MP took part in a Q&A session with students during her visit to the Costello School. Maria also met with the Headteacher Randall Jull for an update.
Maria commented, “It was great to visit the school to discuss the challenges faced during the pandemic and the progress the school made to adapt to different ways of teaching.
Teachers have played a key role in ensuring that pupils in Basingstoke have continued to learn in different settings and adapt to new processes put in place during the pandemic.
Pupils at Costello demonstrated a tremendous resilience to adapting to a new way of learning and living. I very much enjoyed my Q&A session where we discussed exams, online abuse and the Online Harms Bill that aims to deal .”
