Local MP Maria Miller recently visited St Anne’s Catholic Primary School as part of her programme of visits to Basingstoke schools.
Maria met Mrs Jakki Alexander and Mrs Martine Sadie, Head and Deputy Head Teachers, and other members of the senior management team, to discuss recent progress and development at the school. Maria then met members of the School Council for a Q and A session.
Maria said: “I very much enjoyed my visit to St Anne’s, where Mrs Alexander and her team are clearly committed to ensuring an excellent standard of education for all pupils. I also enjoyed my meeting with the members of the School Council who had lots of interesting questions for me. I was also glad to be able to ask them about their thoughts on what makes Basingstoke a great place to live.”
