Maria Miller, MP for Basingstoke has welcomed the Big Lottery Fund award of £19,882 to 2 projects in Basingstoke.
The funding will enable St Gabriel's Church to improve support groups within the community and increase community activities and Muffins Dream Foundation will offer children with disabilities of life-limiting illnesses, and their families, a range of specially adapted activities to reduce isolation and improve well-being.
Maria said, “Local organisation such as St Gabriel’s and Muffins Dream Foundation provide invaluable support to our local community. I am delighted that this funding will enable both of the charities to offer even more services to Basingstoke constituents.”
