The Bill calls to make Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education statutory in all state-funded schools.
Maria said “Children often turn to the internet to find out about sex and relationship education, and can be exposed to inappropriate material whilst doing so.
We need to to ensure that every child has access to age appropriate education around sex, health and relationships – as well as teaching on everything from life-saving CPR to how to be responsible with money. “
