Local MP Maria Miller visited the Maternity Ward at Basingstoke Hospital today, touring the neonatal and postnatal units with the Deputy Head of Midwifery.
Maria welcomed the chance to talk to with one of the Hospital’s invaluable volunteers on the ward, who is currently in training to become a midwife.
Maria said: “It is clear that all the staff working on the Maternity Ward are passionate about providing the best possible care for these women. I am glad that Basingstoke has become a hospital of choice for those who are expecting a baby.”
