Minister Margot James was welcomed as the guest speaker at the Basingstoke Business and Enterprise Forum by Maria Miller MP.
The forum was founded in 2017 and is an opportunity for small and medium sized enterprises in Basingstoke to hear guest speakers and meet regularly with Basingstoke MP Maria Miller and other politicians.
Minister Margot James ran her own business before entering Parliament and spoke about the need for government to work closely with the business community. A wide range of topics were discussed including the implications of Brexit and Apprenticeships.
Maria Miller MP commented; “It was so encouraging to have Margot share her knowledge of running a business and training staff. The BBEF were delighted to welcome her and were struck by her deep understanding of the needs of the Business community.”
