The Aviva Community Fund is open for public voting until 20 November, with seven Basingstoke projects in contention for funding ranging from £1,000 to £25,000. Projects fall into one of three categories – Environment, Health and Wellbeing or Skills for Life.

Hatch Warren Phoenix FC
YPI Youth Counselling Mentoring Project
6th Basingstoke Boys Brigade
Oakridge Junior School
Basingstoke Kickboxing Organisation
Friends of Hatch Warren Infants School
Maria said: “Voting is open to all, and everyone gets ten votes, so you can spread them across as many projects as you like, or use all ten votes to boost the chances of your favourite. I would urge all Basingstoke residents to register to vote and give Basingstoke projects a better chance of winning.”
