Basingstoke MP Maria Miller recently visited Maple Ridge Primary School in Oakridge. Maple Ridge is a primary special school for children with moderate learning difficulties.
Maria met Head Teacher Mrs Debby Gooderham, to discuss the latest developments at the school, and then had a tour of the school to see the new classroom accommodation which has been installed since her last visit.
Maria also had a meeting with members of the School Council, and talked with them about what makes Basingstoke a great place to live.
Maria said: “It was good to catch up with the Head Teacher on current issues, and to hear about the commitment that she and her team have to ensuring that every pupil at Maple Ridge fulfils their potential.”
