Basingstoke MP Maria Miller recently visited Saxon Wood School in Rooksdown. Saxon Wood is a primary special school for children with physical difficulties and associated learning difficulties.
Maria met Head Teacher Mr Richard Parratt, to discuss the latest developments at the school, and then had a short tour of the school. She also attended a school assembly and had the opportunity to meet some of the pupils.
Maria said: “It was good to catch up with the Head Teacher on current issues, and it was clear that he and his whole team are fully committed to ensuring a good quality education for every pupil in the school, within a warm and caring environment.”
