Basingstoke MP, Maria Miller, today submitted 6 nominations to the NHS Parliamentary Awards scheme.
Maria said: “The NHS is the nation’s most loved institution and nowhere more so than in Basingstoke. It is absolutely right that we commend and celebrate the incredible work of staff in the NHS, who make such an immense contribution to us as a society, every single day.
“I am grateful to our local NHS providers for their assistance in recommending such great staff to be put forward for an award. All are more than deserving of recognition, and I hope that this awards scheme helps to highlight the gratitude of myself, and the residents of Basingstoke, for everything they do.”

Excellence in Urgent and Emergency Care Award - NHS Southern Health Foundation Trust Urgent Community Response Team Mid & North Hampshire
Lifetime Achievement Award – Chief Nurse Julie Dawes
